I met with a good friend today that I have known for 23 years! While we have not always been as close as I would like, it is always good to get together with her. We've had lots of good times and have worked hard to create our lives into something meaningful to us. We were eating Mexican and talking about our classrooms. She teaches Kindergarten in an inner city school and just finished her first year. As we were talking about our students, I began thinking that I should begin to write these things down and journal all of the cute, annoying, and interesting things that the kids say or do as well as their parents. While I am not much of a journal writer, this is just an attempt.
